Fran was born a fighter. Born 3 months early she has faced many obstacles quite literally from day one. later on down the road there were complications and she had her entire thyroid removed and she survived that and continued to fight. Things were going well until recently while at work helping disabled and special needs adults something happened that has completely turned our lives upside down. While at work she felt a pop in her brain followed by severe excruciating pain and collapsed. She was Immediately sent to the ER where tests were done and she was rapidly admitted for around the clock care for days. After several tests, procedures to shrink the blood vessels and even a spinal tap to lessen the fluid pressure on her brain she is not improving. She has been in and out of the hospital having testing done, receiving medication and seeing specialists to no avail. As of last night she was sent to the ER and she is currently being monitored as I write this. Her doctors and neurologist have made the decision and have sent a referral for her to be cared for at Dartmouth Hitchcock and we will be packing up and making the long drive out with our heads high and staying hopeful. This has truly been a very difficult and traumatic time for us and we are unsure of what lies ahead. If you are in a position to donate and/or share this it would significantly help cover costs of medical, travel, living, and daily expenses for the difficult road ahead. From our family to yours, thank you and God bless.
