The Perfect Christmas Movie Going to Theatres!

Hi! My name is Anthony Hackett, writer/ director of our newest movie that will be in Movie Theatres Nationwide this holiday season and I am raising money to help with marketing expenses. Regal Cinemas offered us an exclusive distribution opportunity and I am responsible for all the marketing expenses to get the word out about our film to the world. Our independent film is literally competing against films coming out in December like...

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget,

Wonka (Willy Wonka),

Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2,

The Color Purple,

...and more are yet to be named.

Needless to say we don't have anywhere near the millions of dollars for a marketing budget that they have... BUT we have God! I believe He will provide all we need, not to compete against those films, but all we need to reach specifically the people He has for us to reach for this movie, "The Perfect Christmas".

With that being said, we 100% need your help. We are setting a minimum budget of $15,000. With those funds we can concentrate on social media advertising focusing on certain areas that have our target audience. $15k is not all we need by any means lol, but it is definitely a nice start to help us have a successful theatrical run and help make a marketing splash during a time when some other pretty big movies will be coming out. Our target goal is $100k but for right now we are focusing on reaching the first stage of $15k and then hopefully move up from there.

Even to get this far and have our film in movie theatres this holiday season with a nationwide theatrical release is huge. Statistically speaking:

a.) Only 8% of independent films get a nationwide theatrical release

b.) From that 8% only 1% of those films are from African American Directors.

The odd's were already stacked against us, but God blew that out of the water! Now I am asking Him... and YOU for your help to overcome the odds again and be able to have a successful theatrical showing across the nation with other movie giants sharing the Big Screens with us.

Remember we are not raising money to make a movie, or finish the film. There is no risk to your donation because the movie is already complete and we already have distribution. We simply need to market the movie. Marketing is extremely important in the success (or failure) of a film in theatres. It's simple, if no one knows about your movie then no one will see it. We have to tell everyone we can and we need your help to accomplish that.
