Family car failing- please help!

Hello, my name is Ashley,

I am a 34-year-old mom & bonus mom to 3 boys.Outside of being a mom, homemaker,

and a daughter to a retired navy veteran whom I care for in my home as well, I am a full time worker who has chronic illnesses that I struggle with daily but continue to push and work as hard as I can to provide for myself and my family.

I have created this GoFundMe as my family and I need help with purchasing a new family car.

The car we have now is on its last leg and dies at random times. While we have done all we can to keep it in running condition, when we solve one issue, another arises to where it is becoming a bottomless pit where I throw money.

Financially, I cannot afford a new vehicle for the following reasons:

1. My credit is too low to secure funding

2. Our paid off family home that was built in 1905 is requiring repairs which has depleted all of my savings.

3. I have chronic illnesses that require expensive medications that I have to pay for out of pocket to continue working and moving forward.

I have tried reaching out to multiple organizations in hopes to independently solve this on my own. Everything from goodwill to programs who help struggling families and programs my state offers. All to which have an overwhelming amount of applicants but not enough resources to provide.

Like everyone else, a car is essential to keeping my job, keeping medical appointments to maintain my health, and many other vital things.

A used, decent running condition car in my area runs anywhere between 4-6k+. My hopes is to raise 4-5k, anything over that would help us to obtain a better conditioned car or helping with small needs a used car may require.
