Family and Friends of Wesley Bocxe
Sometimes, in the blink of an eye, life changes. Wesley Bocxe, Henk’s brother, was seriously injured in the earthquake that struck Mexico City on Tuesday, September 19th. His loving wife Elizabeth, aged 48, who was with Wesley on the roof of their 9 story apartment building, died in the collapse. Thankfully, their 5-year old daughter, Amara, was in school at the time and was not injured. Elizabeth was laid to rest on Saturday, September 23rd. Wesley is currently in ICU with numerous injuries, and has a long road ahead. He is getting stronger every day, but he needs to build a new life for himself and his daughter.
Wesley lost almost everything in this tragic natural disaster, we can never replace what he lost, but we can provide a springboard to help him heal and reconstruct his life with Amara.
We are asking friends and family to donate what they can.
As most of you know, I am Wesley’s brother Henk’s brother-in-law. I am helping Henk raise this money, while he handles coordinating and taking care of his brother, along with his sister Renata.
I will be providing all funds directly to Henk so that he can spend them on Wesley’s behalf. As Wesley has lost everything, Henk will be using the funds to purchase clothes, furniture, kitchen items . . . really everything needed to build a new likfe from scratch.
Thanks to everyone for your support.
