On the evening of January 6th, my brother Mike experienced a devastating house fire. The fire started in the kitchen, though the exact cause is still unknown. Thankfully, Mike was not home at the time. Tragically, his beloved dog Sissy did not survive the fire. His dog Buddy is expected to recover but is currently receiving veterinary care, including breathing treatments.

The fire caused extensive damage to his home. The interior, including drywall, flooring, appliances, furniture, and some of the windows and doors, will need to be completely replaced. Mike no longer had homeowners insurance, leaving him fully responsible for the cost of rebuilding and recovery.

Mike is a brother, an uncle, and a friend who has always shown up 1000% for everyone who knows him. He is the first to volunteer his time, lend a hand, or offer support whenever someone is in need. We are incredibly grateful for all Mike has done and continues to do for our family and his friends over the years, and we are coming together to support him during this difficult time. Funds raised will go directly toward rebuilding expenses, replacing essential household items, and helping cover veterinary costs.
