Donation protected
On February 18, 2020 Alissa suffered a major stroke in her pons, otherwise known as a pons stroke. Alissa is a single mother of a beautiful little girl and is only 30 years old. She has been on life support in the ICU since that day. A pons stroke is the most debilitating stroke a person can have and although her family remains hopeful Alissa’s future is uncertain. She has been able to open her eyes off and on and breath on her own at times but has not yet regained consciousness. There have been numerous tests done to determine the extent of her brain injury but at the point it is just going to take time. Meanwhile her mother Ginger has not left her side along with her dad and brother, which means they have not gone to work. Alissa’s medical bills continue to raise each day she is there and the expenses of staying in the city, getting hotels and eating out are piling up. This fundraiser is in hopes that enough money can be raised to help pay for the unexpected costs of an emergency like this. Anything you can donate is helpful and appreciated.
