Family altered due to careless medical decisions

I am reaching out seeking help for an amazing woman, mother,  daughter, wife and friend. Unfortunately, her life as she knew it to be normal has drastically changed overnight. Once being completely independent, she has now been stripped of that same independence due to unfortunate medical decision's that have now left her with neuropathy from her hip down to her toes, making daily activities impossible without assistance.  A little background on her last two weeks....Basically she was having bad side effects from medication that she had asked 3 times to be removed from. Instead was switched to a different medication. Side effects continued. She went to Urgent care who sent her straight to ER who couldnt find anything wrong but did begin to ween her off of the medication. 5 days later she was called back in for a possible blood clot. Blood clot was not found so they started running every other test including a spinal tap bc of how sick she was. She was sent home and the next day called and told she tested positive for Lyme disease and put on doxycycline. The following day she developed a horrible migraine that was preventing her from doing anything but laying flat bc that was the only way her head didnt feel like it would explode. After 4 days of the migraine she called the dr back who said she needed an emergency blood patch as the spinal didnt heal. She went in for the blood patch and as they did it, she could feel her leg turning to cement. She was assured it was from the blood patch and feeling would come back in a few hours. Hours passed and it got worse. They then admitted her and feeling has still not returned and her leg and hip are like cement. She has swelling on the side of her spinal cord as a result, which they are "hoping " is part of why her leg is experiencing neuropathy. She was released after 5 days with crutches, a cane, in home occupational and physical therapy but no answers expect a "team of specialists" to follow her and in time and with steroids and pain meds etc she will regain feeling and hopefully recover 100% but there are no guarantees. Her ability to live has been significantly altered as well as her kids and husband. Everything in her life has changed, she is unable to walk, drive, work, shower or use the restroom without assistance. The little activities that we perform daily, that we take for granted, she is not unable to do. Can you imagine being a mother and losing all independence, while your two young children can't quite understand what happened to mommy? A once extremely independent mother and wife, is now confined to being immobile and unable to be alone. Mindy would give you the shirt off of her back if necessary,  a woman who truly lives to love others, as well as help anyone in her presence. I am extremely grateful to be able to call this woman my friend! She has a long road ahead of her, so I am asking for your help... to bring a little less worry about medical bills, so that she is able to fully focus on getting better so that she can again tuck her babies in at night, so that these two beautiful children can have their mommy back.
