Amelia is my 16 year old granddaughter who has been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. She has been hospitalised 5 times in 12 months and on discharge each time she has received no mental health support to help overcome her illness. She is now being sent to a tier 4 unit for intensive treatment after being let down so many times in the community. Unfortunately this could be anywhere in the uk. Far away from family and on her own.

i am trying to raise as much money as possible so that her mum (my daughter, Claire) and her other children can be as near to Amelia as possible especially at this time of year, to be able to get accommodation so they can see her and be with her as much as possible.

anything at all we would be eternally greatful for, so we can give them all the time together whilst her recieving treatment and they can spend Christmas together wherever that may be.
