Hi i'm millie lucie's daughter. In regards to my mum going through a difficult time with a neurological condition i am fundraising for families in the same situation as us not knowing what the days bring. At the end of January- end of February (date TBC) i will be walking pen y fan for the Neurological alliance and the Brain charity.

A little back story:

Mam suffered an ear infection for a week prior to being rushed into hospital, on the 27th mam become severely unwell and was taken into the heath hospital. At first they suspected a stroke but until further tests and investigation we found that the infection had gone to the base of her skull resulting in an abscess on the right side of her brain. That night mam was rushed into emergency brain surgery to removed the abscess. We don't know what each day is going bring, mam has also lost the use of her left arm and don't know what house adaptions are needed. She is currently in a stable situation and on the road to recovery.

Anyone is welcome to join and raise awareness of this condition which isn't talked about enough.
