Families of So. Pitts. TN HS FB Alumni & Players
Hi, my name is Wes Stone. I am the head
football coach at South Pittsburg High School
in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. We are a small, 1A high school with around 370 students in
grades 7-12. This is a very small community
where everyone is like family. I personally
coached each of the young men in high school football that were tragically killed in a car
accident on Saturday, June 4th. I am starting
this fundraiser in an attempt to raise money for families to help with final expenses. Jayven
Martin played defensive line for me and was a 2018 SPHS graduate. His younger brother,
Saveon played offensive line for us and was a
2021 graduate. Jamal Allen was an all state
defensive end for us and also a 2021 graduate. Jamal, was also my little cousin whom I had
coached since he was 6 years old. Jailyn
Pellam was a member of the 2021 Class 1A
State Championship team and was a rising
junior two way starter on our 2022 team. I have coached Jailyn since he was 5 years old in little league baseball as well as high school football. All four of these guys were teammates, friends, and in one case, a cousin with two of my sons. Our community has been devastated by
Saturday’s events and will be laying these Pirates to rest soon in an attempt to begin the healing
process. I have 4 sons myself ranging from age 27 to 10, but any young man I coach has always been “one of my boys” as well. I will love them forever. #OnceAPirateAlwaysAPirate
Please consider donating to help these families during  these trying times for our community.  Thank you in advance for your help.
