Help Families of Rio Grande do Sul Floods (Brazil)

My name is Giuliano. I currently live in Canada, but I was born and raised in southern Brazil, specifically Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. In all my 33 years, I have never witnessed a flood of this magnitude in that region. My intention with this fundraiser is to gather money to help family members and close friends whose lives have been profoundly affected by this natural disaster.

All donations will be divided and directed to three families within my circle who lost all their belongings due to the flood. This money will provide them with financial support for essentials such as food, cleaning supplies, and other necessities while they are unable to work because companies and other businesses are closed or flooded. The water level in their house rose to the roof, causing damages to doors, windows, furniture, appliances, and food shortages.

The funds will be received in my Canadian account, converted based on the exchange rate (as provided by the Wise app) from Canadian Dollars (CAD) to Brazilian Reais (BRL), and then transferred to the families. I will post receipts and exchange rates for the transferred amounts in the updated section of this page.
