Hi my name is Mohamad Mabrouk and I am building a fundraiser for a displaced family that I know live in Gaza.
In times of crisis, the devastating impact of war and displacement can leave families struggling to meet their most basic needs.
One particular family, Ibrahim Mabrouk's family have gone through such a displacement.
"Frankly, we lost everything we had in Gaza. I, my brothers, 54 people, my father and my mother were bombed. Our house was bombed and we were displaced more than once. They expelled us from our homes and we moved to distant places. Then we returned and found the houses in the area destroyed, but some of them were suitable for housing and others were not. Our freelance work stopped. We did not get anything. Money to cover our daily expenses. Our shops were destroyed and stolen, but we can only say, thank God for this situation and in every situation."
But even with all of the destruction...

They are doing their best to keep their spirits up.

However now they cannot even stay. Ibrahim just recently told me: "The situation in Gaza has become unlivable and I am now trying to save my small family and my daughters to get out to a safer place than Gaza in the current situation until things stabilize in Gaza, but the costs for travel are astronomical, as one person needs five thousand US dollars to be able to leave Gaza, in addition to the costs of living."
As we witness the harrowing circumstances faced by Ibrahim's family, it becomes clear that our support and contributions can provide a lifeline of hope in their darkest hours. By coming together through initiatives such as this GoFundMe page, we have the power to make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected. Your generous donations will go directly towards providing Ibrahim, his wife, and 2 beautiful daughters with essential resources, offering them a chance to rebuild their lives and find solace amidst chaos.
Your kindness and compassion will not only alleviate their immediate suffering but also serve as a beacon of solidarity and empathy in a world so often plagued by turmoil. Please consider extending a helping hand today - your support is invaluable and deeply appreciated.
