❤️Help My Flood-Affected Village in Sri Lanka — Every Dollar Brings Hope

My hometown, Chilaw in Sri Lanka, has been devastated by severe flooding.

The water has risen so high that it has reached the upper door frames of our homes. Families who lived peacefully just days ago are now standing in water, holding their children with nothing left to protect them.

Right now, around 50 people from our village have taken shelter in our small village church. These are people I grew up with… neighbours who once shared meals, laughter, and life with my family. Today, they have lost everything — their beds, clothes, school books, kitchens, and even their sense of safety, all the memories.

I may be far away in Australia, but my heart is with them every second. I feel like I am standing on water with them in Sri Lanka, even though I am in Australia.

This fundraiser is my small attempt to bring some dignity and hope back into their lives.
