(Espanol abajo) Levi Diaz was taken by ICE right outside his Brentwood, Maryland, home while he was gardening his lawn on Friday, August 29. His wife Marisol has been left wondering how does her easy-going law-abiding hard-working husband and parent of her three children be taken so inhumanly.
Levi migrated to the US at the age of 17 in search of a better life. He created a home with Marisol in which they are raising three beautiful and curious children, all under eight. He works in landscaping and she works at a local hospital. They have been working with a lawyer to get his papers since 2020, when he was just taken away!
Marisol is trying to keep it together, focusing on providing emotional support for her chidren. With one less income, she has had to increase her working hours. Plus the legal costs to get her husband back home are piling up. PLEASE help us support this immigrant family by donating anything you can towards their legal and emergency fund! EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS. Please also share widely!

***The Prince George's County Immigrant Rights Collective (PGIRC) hosts Know Your Rights canvasses & trainings, and shares resources to protect immigrants impacted by ICE. We have found these impacted immigrant families through networking and organizing in our community around mutual aid and safety. All funds go directly from you to GoFundMe to impacted family members’ bank. It is often needed for legal services to free their loved ones, but it is also critical to ensure they can afford rent, food, medicine, transportation and other basic needs with the loss of income and the grief they are going through.***
