Hi everyone,

I am reaching out to you today as a last resort. My name is Wilber mora. and I am writing on behalf of the Mora Naranjo family. As a husband and father, I am trying to navigate an incredibly difficult time for my wife and children.

Current events in our city involving ICE activity have created a climate of fear that has made it unsafe for us to go about our daily lives. To protect my children and ensure our family stays together, we have had to limit our movements, which has severely impacted our ability to work.

To make matters worse, I lost my job on December 22nd. This was our primary source of income, and since then, we have been struggling to stay afloat. On top of the financial strain, our family is currently battling Chickenpox (Varicela). Between the medical bills and the inability to work, we have fallen behind on everything.

We are currently facing:

• Overdue Utility Bills: Our electricity and gas bills have doubled, and we are terrified of our services being cut off.

• Medical Expenses: Costs for treatments and care for our children.

• Basic Necessities: Rent and food while I search for a safe way to provide for my family again.

We are proud people who have always worked hard, but we are now in a position where we cannot do this alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward keeping our lights on, our home warm, and our children healthy.
