Our long time neighborhood friend, Darin Falzone, is in need of financial support and prayers

If you know Darin you know him to be a great friend. Always willing to lend a hand, always there with a joke to lighten a situation or just to check in with a friend who might need someone to listen to them.

On Sunday, February 12, his daughter Melanie was admitted into Cohens Children’s Hospital and has been diagnosed with cancer. Darin, his wife Marianna and son Ryan are devastated as are extended family and friends. A very large tumor was found in her chest and in the lymph nodes in her neck.

Melanie is currently still in the hospital and will begin chemo and radiation treatments this week. Melanie is a sweet, creative, brave young lady ready to take on the fight for her life. She will have to endure a minimum of 6 to 8 months of treatment, with a possibility of surgery afterward. Melanie will need round the clock care. She can’t wait to put this all behind her and get back to life with her family and friends.

With that long road ahead you can only imagine the financial burden this will have on Darin and Marianna. We want to help put their mind at ease with any help we can offer.
