Fallout: Miles Away - The Fan Film

Hello all you wastelanders! It's me! Tony Gasperetti! I have been an independent filmmaker for the past 20 years. During those years I have created 4 Fallout fan films! Its been a good several years since I've made my last fan film and the urge to make another one is quite strong!

For the past few years my friends and I have always wanted to make a super legit, full length fan film with a runtime of 90-120 minutes or even longer! But once we completed a new draft for the big script I got a bit overwhelmed with the scope and size of what the financial and logistical aspects of the production would have to offer.

This is why I’ve decided to make a more fresh, streamlined adventure for my main character, Atom.

Something a bit more manageable.

Therefore, I’ve decided to make a mid-length film that would be around 45-60 minutes called “Fallout: Miles Away”

The film will serve as a sequel to my old short film “Fallout: Deuces”.

But also act as a complete new adventure for Atom.

An adventure that will go from New Vegas, across the Mojave Wasteland and to some newer diverse locations like mountains and the coast of the Pacific Ocean.

I don’t want to give away too many spoilers for the plot but I will say this. Early on in the film Atom gets captured by the NCR and is about to be executed for his crimes. When suddenly that’s called off and he is given a choice. Death. Or agree to go on a top secret mission with Corporal Miles for the NCR and potentially clear his name. What do you think he chooses?

And with that, I’ve decided to try luck into a crowdfunding campaign with this film.

You know how some people say that film is cheap?

Well filming on digital is even cheaper.

But you know what ain’t cheap?

Food and gas.

And well, basically everything else too these days like props and renting possible locations for filming.

This is why I would like to ask all you wastelanders out there for any caps you could shell out my way to help make Atom’s next adventure possible.

I’m setting the base goal for my film to $5,000 dollars.

And if I happen to exceed that goal I may be inclined to add more stuff to the movie.

Like additional props, characters, visual effects and extra scenes entirely!

This is my first crowdfunding campaign so I really don’t know what I can offer in terms of rewards.

But how about access to a 4K version of the movie to download once its done?

A poster? Your name in the credits?

As time goes on I’ll refine and make tweaks to the rewards.

I’m hoping to have this movie done by early 2026.
