Fallon Garcia’s F’ Cancer Chronicles

In January 2024, Fallon was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It was not just a nightmare she could wake up from. It was the real deal. Yes, that cancer that is trying to steal Fallon's life from her 3 young daughters. Yes, that cancer that requires the treatment that everybody fears. Yes, that cancer that is forcing her to be on disability, away from her job that she adores and that puts a roof over her family's head. Yes, that cancer that could totally **wipe her out** financially.

In February, Fallon started Chemo and has experienced so many of its physical challenges and side effects. There have also been emotionally exhausting days like when her insurance denied a scan or another procedure and made her jump through hoops to get results. She originally thought she had amazing insurance that would cover a majority of the costs with minimal copays. But not for that cancer. She was definitely not prepared for this type of financial hit. Her weekly copays range from $250-$1500. Oh My! There are days when Fallon questions how much her life is really worth, and she feels like maybe it would be easier to give up. Let's remind Fallon that her life is worth MILLIONS, especially to her daughters! 

Fallon the Fighter prefers to do things on her own, and typically refuses to ask for help. For this fight, she needs help. Every $$$ amount counts towards her medical expenses and all those copays! She is scheduled to have 2 rounds of chemo (24 treatments total). ***UPDATE*** Round 2 has been canceled for now!!! Because she tested positive for the BRCA mutation, she will undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction after chemo. She has finally agreed to let us start this GoFundMe page because she is learning to be open, and vulnerable and grateful for those who want to help her on her F* Cancer Chronicles journey.
