Hello! My name is Talia smith and eight years ago yesterday, I was raped. It’s something I never thought I’d survive, but with time, strength, and the support of incredible charities like Rape Crisis, I’ve slowly learned to heal and find my voice again. Their help and my families support has been life-changing, and I truly don’t know where I’d be without the support they gave me when I felt most broken. To honour how far I’ve come and to give back to others who are still on their journey, I’ll be doing the Dubai Skydive in aid of Rape Crisis. This is more than just a jump for me—it’s a symbol of taking my life back, of courage, and of hope.
