What IS "Fallen Angel"?
It's about Daniel, a content, hopeless dreamer, guardian angel, who wants to experience life on Earth, but can't get it because angels are forbidden from physical human contact, and therefore has to change by stealing the golden angel wings and becoming mortal, which is something he never would have done at the start of the story. 30 Minute Single-Camera Comedy.
Our Story and Fundraising Goals
On behalf of the entire crew of "Fallen Angel", welcome to our fundraising page! "Fallen Angel" is a senior thesis project to be completed by students in CSUN's Fall 2021 TV Production Thesis course. The purpose of this project is to develop a pilot episode for a potential television series using the compilation of knowledge we production majors have learned throughout the course of our college education. Our executive producer, Taylor James, created and developed the concept throughout the course of Spring 2021, and we are incredibly excited to be bringing it to life, but it does come with a price. Our goal is to raise at least $25,000 because ultimately, we want this to look good... no, we want this to look amazing! This won't be possible, however, without the help of those reading this now. We are asking for any and all donations which would be put towards these areas:
- Camera & Lighting: Camera package rental, lens kit rental, grip truck/equipment, video village, etc.
- Sound: Equipment rentals, composing, etc.
- Art Department: production design, set dressing, props, wardrobe, hair/makeup, etc.
- Post Production: Hard drives, color grading/correction, transcoding, foley artist, etc.
- Locations: Permits, insurance, transportation, liaison fee, etc.
- Catering and Craft Services: Meals, snacks, drinks, etc.
- COVID-19 Safety: PPE for crew and cast, sanitizing/disinfecting equipment, masks, face shields, COVID-19 testing, Covid Compliance Officer, etc.
- Casting: Payment for actors and background.
