Formula Racing at UC Davis is an entirely student-run organization centered on building, designing, and testing a new electric race car each year. We are a collegiate-level racing team comprised of students from diverse majors, years, and backgrounds, all united by a love of innovation and racing.

Every aspect of our team, from fabrication to outreach, is student-run and does not receive funding from UC Davis. We rely on company sponsors and crowdfunding to cover the costs of all materials, equipment, and transportation. This year, costs have only climbed as tariffs have increased manufacturing costs drastically.

Our goal this year is to build FE13 to be our strongest contender ever in international competition. Not only does this benefit our club directly, but allows us to use our car as a mode of outreach, promoting electric vehicles in our community and inspiring young students to pursue education in STEM.
