Fall 2024 Yamasa Institute education fund!

Hi, I'm Danny LaCharity (they/them), and I'm a 4th year student at Antioch College.

I've been presented with a once in a lifetime education opportunity at The Yamasa Institute in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture in Japan! This is a Japanese language program designed to be an immersive education experience for foreigners, and an opportunity to learn about and experience the surrounding locations and culture! I was given this opportunity through my college's co-op program, and while my past co-op terms have mainly been for the purpose of work experience, this one would be solely focused on education and working towards my degree.

I can't pretend that this isn't also a passion venture; I've dreamed of going to Japan for the majority of my life, and it would be an absolute delight to finally make that dream a reality!

This fundraiser is for the purpose of building a nest egg of funds to fall back on outside of what is provided by my college, to make this study abroad more livable and financially viable. I would appreciate any and all contributions toward this goal; it would mean the world to me!
