Falku is a graduate from George Brown College's Culinary Management Program Class of 2014. He landed his first head chef position in 2018 at a seafood restaurant in Toronto, Canada. Unfortunately with COVID, as we all know, the restaurant industry took a huge hit, so Falku was faced with a hardship as he needed to reinvent himself. In 2023, Falku continued to apply himself, and graduated from Seneca College Fraud Examination & Forensic Accounting (FEA). Again he was met with more difficulties, as even this field has struggled in the current economic climate. That leads us to Falku's newfound aspirations of piloting a drone! There are numerous opportunities, including agriculture, law enforcement, IT, but more importantly this puts the power into Falku's hands. Now he can freelance for himself, without relying on companies that have continuously laid off workers. Falku has proven to be self sufficient, and shown to have applied himself in the past with his determination to take things into his own hands. He has even taken the first steps for drone certifications, but the last 5 years of hardships has taken a toll financially on him. This is where we can come together as a community, and support Falku in his new endeavors to empower him to work for himself even through future economic uncertainty.
