Falcon Eyes is a 20-min short film about loss, love, and memories.

Have you ever lost someone you loved and found yourself struggling to remember their face?

Meet June, a fourteen-year-old girl with face blindness, a condition that makes it impossible for her to recognize people's faces—even those of her loved ones.

While June is searching for her deceased mother's face with the help of a secret friend—the "bird woman", she stumbles upon a hidden secret of her father's, forever altering her life.

Why This Story Matters

Falcon Eyes is based on the true story of people with Face Blindness (Prosopagnosia). This neurological condition prevents individuals from recognizing faces, affecting approximately 2% of the UK population.

  • Can you recognise these people? People with developmental prosopagnosia can't remember faces.

For those with the condition, everyday social interactions can become a source of anxiety and fear, potentially leading to social isolation and depression, especially in teenagers. Depression and social anxiety are common.

  • People who have acquired Prosopagnosia cannot distinguish the difference between these faces.

At its heart, Falcon Eyes is a coming-of-age story seen through the unique perspective of a young girl. While her condition is unusual, the themes of family, identity, and growing up are universal.

Why Do We Need Your Help?

Falcon Eyes is a powerful short film that deserves a wider audience. As an independent production, we've exhausted our funds on creating the film. We need your support to finalise and submit it to festivals, bringing this important story to more viewers.

Your contribution will help cover festival submission fees, marketing materials, and outreach efforts to ensure Falcon Eyes reaches audiences who can connect with and be moved by June's journey.

By supporting our promotional campaign, you'll play a crucial role in raising awareness about prosopagnosia and the challenges faced by those who live with this condition. Your generosity will amplify the film's impact, potentially touching the lives of the 2% of the population affected by face blindness.

Help us share this award-winning story and spark important conversations about memory, identity, and the human experience.
