Honoring Ethan Bennett: A Legacy of Service and Compassion
On February 27, 2025, we lost an incredible soul—Ethan Bennett. He was more than a dedicated EMT; he was a son, a friend, a brother, and a compassionate heart who touched the lives of so many. At just 22 years old, Ethan had already made a profound impact in the world of emergency medical services, demonstrating a level of commitment, professionalism, and kindness that inspired everyone around him.
Ethan graduated from Arapahoe Community College as a nationally registered EMT, eager to serve his community. He began his career with AMR in Arvada, Colorado, in the fall of 2022, where he quickly gained the respect and admiration of his colleagues. In March 2023, he joined Falck Rocky Mountain, where he worked tirelessly until his passing. Those who knew Ethan remember him as a man of quiet strength and deep compassion—someone who could bring calm in the face of chaos and comfort to those in their most vulnerable moments.
His coworkers and friends speak of him as the kind of EMT and human being the world desperately needs. He was the one you could count on during the hardest calls, the one who made long shifts feel like time spent with a best friend, and the one who led with empathy, always ensuring his patients felt safe and cared for. His dedication to the field was undeniable, and his impact on his peers was immeasurable.
To honor Ethan’s memory and continue his passion for emergency medical services, we have created this GoFundMe campaign to support the education of future EMTs. Ethan believed in the importance of this work and the critical role EMTs play in saving lives. By contributing, you help provide scholarships and financial aid to aspiring EMTs, ensuring that more individuals like Ethan can step into this vital profession and carry forward his legacy of service.
The featured image of this campaign captures Ethan in his element—on the scene of a call, fully equipped in his Falck uniform, embodying the professionalism and dedication that defined him. This is how he should be remembered: a hero in his own right, standing strong in the face of adversity, always ready to help.
Ethan may be gone, but his legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the future EMTs who will follow in his footsteps. Thank you for honoring his memory and supporting this cause that meant so much to him.
Rest easy, Ethan. You are deeply loved and forever missed.
