Sadaqah Jariyah for Khattab Abu Haish

Salam everyone,

Our beloved brother, Khattab Abu Haish, demonstrated the essence of courage and selflessness. On that fateful day at Congo Beach, he demonstrated unparalleled bravery, rushing to the aid of his siblings in distress who were having trouble in the surf. Despite his heroic efforts, the ruthless grip of a rip current snatched him away before his family’s eyes on 26/12/2023. Despite exhaustive search efforts spanning months, the ocean refused to show any sign of our dear Khattab.

Khattab possessed exceptional qualities of kindness and generosity. His absence has left an indelible void in our hearts, a void that echoes with the irreplaceable loss we endure. Yet, amidst our sorrow, we find solace in the belief in Allah's divine plan and wisdom—Alhamdulillah. May Allah, in His infinite mercy, grant Khattab the highest level in Jannah, for he has earned it through his selfless sacrifice—a beloved martyr whose memory will forever resonate in our hearts.

As we promised his mother, we are committed to raising funds to build a mosque as a form of sadaqa jariya in his honour. Your support will mean so much to our family. May Allah swt reward each and every one that donates, shares and made dua.
