Fajr and Yasmika

Hi my name is Julia and I am one of the many auntie’s of Fajr. On July 11, 2022, Fajr was complaining of pain to her right knee. After several tests to figure out what was wrong with the princess it was confirmed that she has osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Osteosarcoma (also called osteogenic sarcoma) is the most common type of cancer that starts in the bones. The cancer cells in these tumors look like early forms of bone cells that normally help make new bone tissue, but the bone tissue in an osteosarcoma is not as strong as that in normal bones. The money raised will assist the family greatly as treatment requires for Yasmika to be home with her for a minimum of seven months. All proceeds will go towards medical and other expenses due to Yasmika not being able to work. Everyone who knows Fajr knows that she has a vibrant personality, she is not the average five year old as you never know what will come out of her mouth. She is the apple of her mother’s eyes and with prayer and endless support, Fajr will overcome this battle.
