Hi, my name is Faith Hinitt and I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at the age of 25. Since then I have had many different rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and a stem cell transplant. 3 weeks ago I was admitted to hospital for intense chemotherapy after another relapse and then with the hope to go on to have a second stem cell transplant. A second stem cell transplant is my best chance to be cured from this horrible disease.

NHS guidelines is that if you relapse within 12 months as an adult a second stem cell transplant can’t be routinely funded. The commissioner has said they cannot fund a second stem cell transplant so now an individual funding request has been sent to NHS England.

There is potential that I may be not be granted this funding.

The cost of a Stem Cell Transplant is £100,000. This is the reason I have set up this go fund me page to help raise some money to help me get this life saving transplant.
