Books for Faith Roots Int Academy's Library, Ghana
Hello, Friends!
During these last two weeks of May, we are doing a Charitable Book Drive to help provide books for the 70 children in residential care at City of Refuge Ministries in Ghana, West Africa and the over 200 children attending their school each day. City of Refuge runs a school called Faith Roots International Academy for these children, whose ages range from 2 years old through the 9th grade. Our ultimate goal is to replace dated and worn books and provide many more books to their library, a minimum of 1 additional new book per student. Usborne Books & More (a children’s book publisher) will be matching 50% of all funds/sales collected to help us get to our goal! **Book Drive ends May 31, so act now!**
Here’s how it works:
1) Buy books for your own readers here: book efair shopping link. The publisher rewards from this fundraiser will all be donated to the Faith Roots International Academy library, so any purchases you make will increase the giving.
2) Contribute directly in our GoFundMe page here. Your donations will go straight to buying books for the library and also add to the book rewards, so this way is definitely more bang for your buck. (If you prefer to avoid the fees, send via PayPal (essentialOC AT gmail DOT com) or via Venmo (@Meredith-Chase-1) and memo Faith Roots Library).

Faith Roots’ existing library is something that sets them apart from other schools in the surrounding area, and we are honored to come alongside them to expand and update this essential resource.

City of Refuge Ministries is committed to providing holistic restoration for children who have been liberated from exploitation, abuse or trafficking. You can read more about the organization at www.cormghana.org . Below is a 10 year anniversary video showing a lot of what CORM Ghana is all about!
