Faith Lives 2016

Donation protected

The Church is the oldest social service organization in history.  Today, we depend on the Church to address food insecurity, after school tutoring, summer learning, health interventions, job fairs and other social service solutions.  It is a place where community is built.

The Black Health Care Coalition is working to raise $65,000 for the National Baptist Convention because of our commitment to the Church. Over fifty percent of our 5,800 uninsured  Missouri and Kansas residents, in need of medical care, are cared for at Church.

The Black Health Care Coalition will provide blood pressure screenings, diabetes checks, smoking cessation, behavior health screenings, lead screenings, BMI, heart disease assessments at the convention in Kansas City this year!

We need this! Service saves lives! The city is unable to honor a $65,000 commitment to the National Baptist Convention because of "separation of church and state".  Let's join together to honor the social service agenda of the National Baptist Convention.  Your donation will advance the Convention's Criminal Justice Agenda; The Conventions’ Disaster Relief Agenda; The Convention's Housing Agenda; the Convention's Health Agenda!

100 percent of donations collected will go to the National Baptist Convention efforts in Kansas City on September 5-9, 2016.

Your donation means that service lives, hope lives, faith lives.  Thank you!
