My name is Alicia, and with a broken heart I share that my mother has gone home to be with the Lord. She fought a long, hard battle, and she held on with every bit of strength she had. The doctors tried every option available to save her — every treatment, every intervention — but we reached a point where there was nothing more that could be done. With heavy hearts, we had to let her go and trust that God was calling her home.

My mom was a woman of deep faith, always praying over her children and believing in God’s plan even through her pain. I know she is now resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord, healed and made whole, even though our hearts are hurting here on earth.
