Hello, my name is Cory. Life has taken a difficult turn—I recently lost my job, and despite applying, I haven’t been able to receive unemployment benefits. As a result, I’m now facing the very real possibility of homelessness. Soon, I’ll be living in my car with my two dogs, trying to hold on while I search for work in an extremely competitive job market.

Throughout my life, I’ve always believed in helping others, even when I didn’t have much myself. I’ve volunteered countless hours, including working in search and rescue during the recent Texas floods, where I witnessed firsthand the power of community and compassion. I’ve contributed to causes and supported people in need, because I’ve always felt called to serve. Now, for the first time in a long time, I find myself on the other side—needing help just to make it through the next few months.

I’m relying on God and my faith to guide me through this season, trusting that there is a way forward. Any support you can give will help me keep my dogs safe, cover basic needs, and give me the stability to continue searching for work. Even the smallest contribution makes a difference, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness.
