In the early hours of the morning, our lives changed forever. My mom passed away unexpectedly at 3:46am, and the pain and shock have left us feeling lost. There are no words to describe the emptiness we feel, or the fear of facing the days ahead without her love and guidance. My mom was the heart of our family. She was a woman of faith, always putting others before herself and teaching us to trust in God’s plan, even when it’s hard to understand. We are reaching out because we simply don’t know how we’ll manage the funeral expenses, the travel needed to lay my mom to rest beside her dad and brother, or even how to feed my little brother and sister while I’m out of work.
