Faith Over Fear - Support for Sydney's Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Astewaye Yigzaw, and I am the step-mother of Sydney Venable, a brave and resilient 14 year old who is currently facing a difficult medical battle. She was recently diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and is undergoing treatment that comes with significant emotional, physical, and financial strain. Sydney has already undergone 2 brain surgeries and will be undergoing several weeks of treatment for her condition. I'm writing this on behalf of Sydney's parents, Harold Venable and Tiana Hines. We are doing everything in our power to care for Sydney while navigating an incredibly difficult and emotional journey.

The emotional toll has been overwhelming, but so too has the financial burden. Between the hospital stays, treatment plans, medications, transportation and time away from work, the costs have piled up quickly. While insurance helps with some of the bills, many critical expenses are not covered, and the out-of-pocket costs continue to grow.

We are asking for your support to help cover hospital bills and procedures, medication and treatment not covered by insurance, travel to/from treatment centers, and recovery and rehabilitation expenses and equipment.
