Isaiah 41:10 • Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
As some of you may know, the Carl and Gina show has hit a major bump in the road. Carl was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer. Carl has been in our lives for the last 15 years and holds a very special place in all of our hearts. He is now the best PopPop to all 4 of his grand-boys. We’ve been blessed that he considers all of us his own and has stood with our Mom through it all. We have been waiting to say anything until we could provide answers. Because of the aggressive nature and advanced stage of this cancer, not much hope was given locally. As a result, they sought help from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. They left there encouraged and hopeful. MD Anderson will be the lead caregivers in his treatment, but thankfully they will coordinate his chemo locally. The plan at this time is that all other care will be done in Houston,TX. There will be a lot of expenses incurred throughout this time. Along with medical expenses, both Mom and Carl are self-employed. Unfortunately, Carl has been unable to work at this time creating an immense financial strain. Collectively, my brothers and sisters wanted to put this GoFund me out here to try and lift some of the burden that will be on our Mom and Carl— This way Carl can focus on conquering Cancer. We are all standing in Faith that God is the almighty healer and Carl will come through victorious, to have an amazing testimony of God’s divine healing. I know that my Mom and Carl feel beyond blessed and appreciative of all of the love and prayers that have already poured in and we hope that this gives an easy outlet for people to pour into their lives as they navigate this storm.
