Faith Over Fear Project 2023
Donation protected
Kulwinder Kaur Dhillon, a woman whose heart was full of compassion and generosity. She was a firm believer of helping the less fortunate with acts of kindness no matter how big or small, whether it was buying chips for a man outside of the Bellingham Wal-Mart or supporting and spending time at an organization that housed destitute women and children called Pingalwara. The objective for this project is to continue her legacy of giving back.
This project is starting with a food drive that will help feed the less fortunate. We will be partnering with a charitable organization that will help us in this endeavor. You can help by collecting and dropping off non-perishable items at the Dhillon Residence.
Accepted items are, but not limited to:
o Canned and boxed meals (soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese)
o Peanut butter and other nut butters
o Canned or dried beans and peas (black, pinto, lentils)
o Pasta, rice, cereal
o Canned and fresh fruits and vegetables
o 100% fruit or vegetable juice (canned, plastic or boxed)
o Canned meat (chicken, beef, fish)
o Infant formula, baby food and baby cereal
We are beyond grateful to be organizing this fundraiser for a second year. Please help us help many others in need of our love and support. We will be accepting donations beginning August 1st, 2023 until August 23rd, 2023. We encourage you to join us in making teams to go door to door in neighboring areas on August 23rd, 2023 to collect more items for the food drive.
