Hi everyone,

My name is Cara Uttinger, I along with my sister Deanna Hill and brother Cory Christie are fundraising for our incredible mom, Diana Christie. Recently, our family received news that has changed our lives—our mom has been diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer.

In early October, she underwent major surgery where doctors removed a tumor the size of a cantaloupe, along with 8 inches of her colon. The surgery was long and difficult, but she faced it with unbelievable strength and grace—just like she faces everything in life.

Now, she’s preparing for the next phase of her journey—intensive chemotherapy and ongoing treatments. The road ahead won’t be easy, but our mom’s faith, strength, and compassion for others continue to shine through every step. Even with insurance, the financial strain is overwhelming—medical bills, travel costs for treatment, time away from work, and all the little things that add up when you’re fighting a serious illness.

Our mom has always been the heart of our family and a bright light to everyone she meets—whether it’s lending a helping hand, offering kind words, or cheering others on when they need it most. She’s never been one to ask for help, but we know she’d do the same for anyone in her place. It’s incredibly hard to see her go through this, but we’re determined to make sure she never fights alone.
