Our sweet baby Grayson has been a fighter since the very beginning of his life.

Before he was even born, his journey was already filled with challenges. Grayson was born premature, and during those fragile early days he suffered a stroke. No baby should have to face something so serious so early in life, but from the start he has shown incredible strength.

Despite everything he went through, he kept pushing forward. His family celebrated every small victory and every milestone, grateful to see him grow and fight.

But recently, their world was shaken again.

His family noticed something frightening—his eyes and hands jerking at the same time, movements that didn’t seem normal. After seeking medical care and seeing specialists, doctors confirmed that Grayson is experiencing seizures known as infantile spasms, a rare and serious seizure disorder that affects babies.

Infantile spasms require urgent treatment because they can impact a baby’s developing brain.

Since receiving this diagnosis, his parents have been thrown into a whirlwind of:

• Neurologist visits

• Medical testing and monitoring

• Hospital appointments

• Difficult treatments and medications

Right now, Grayson is undergoing high-dose steroid treatment as doctors work quickly to stop the spasms and protect his development.

Watching your baby endure this is every parent’s worst nightmare. Yet through it all, his parents continue to stand strong, advocating for their son and doing everything possible to give him the best chance at a healthy future.

With ongoing travel for treatments, specialist visits, medications, and time away from work to care for their baby, the financial burden has become overwhelming.
