Update 9/20/25, Day 62 in the Hospital
This journey continues to challenge us in ways we never imagined. Liam had a very severe reaction to two of his chemotherapy drugs etoposide and teniposide. It was terrifying he began choking, couldn’t breathe properly, and even turned purple. It was a critical and extremely scary moment.
Because of this reaction, Liam is now being moved to a high risk chemotherapy protocol. We continue to battle serious fluctuations in his blood pressure, which remains a major concern for his medical team.
Looking ahead, Liam is scheduled to have his 4th round of chemotherapy this Thursday. Then, 21 days after that, doctors will perform a scan to evaluate whether surgery might be possible at that stage.
This has been an incredibly hard road, but Liam is fighting every step of the way. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Your love and support mean the world to us during this time.

Update 8/18/25
He’s still out of the PICU, but currently requiring multiple PRNs and oral medications to manage his blood pressure. Overall, he’s really not feeling well. I can’t lay him on his back without him crying and screaming in discomfort. He’s not eating or drinking much, and his bowel movements have been very concerning. They ran a stool sample and confirmed its campylobacter, so he’ll be starting antibiotics for treatment.
Still waiting on the NBL risk classification to come back, he will either stay at an intermediate risk or it will move him to high risk if that test is positive, praying for a negative test. Blessings to all of you, Thank you so much.
Update 8/15/25.
We wanted to share a quick update on Liam’s condition. Due to a severe reaction to a medication, he had to be placed on a ventilator for 27 hours. He is currently still in the PICU as doctors work to manage his high blood pressure.
We’re hopeful he will be stable enough soon to return to the Aflac cancer unit.
Liam has completed his second round of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, one of the lymph nodes came back positive for cancer. We are still waiting on further testing to determine whether he will be classified as high risk or intermediate risk—but as of now, his diagnosis is stage 4.
Please continue to keep Liam in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means the world to us during this incredibly difficult time.
Please Pray for Our Brave Little Warrior ️
It is with the heaviest heart that we share the unimaginable, our sweet, joyful little boy has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
What began as what we thought was simple constipation turned into something no parent could ever prepare for. For over a month, we worked closely with his pediatrician to find answers. Despite trying everything recommended, nothing seemed to help. Then, about two weeks ago, a noticeable swollen mass appeared under his left rib cage. We were concerned and made another pediatrician appointment, which led to an ultrasound and a CT scan being scheduled but it would take several days, maybe even weeks, to get those done.
That night, our parental instincts took over and thank God they did. We couldn’t wait. We rushed Liam to the ER at children's in Atlanta
There, they immediately performed an ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scan. The doctors told us they were almost certain what it was… and that night, we heard the words no parent ever wants to hear:
“Your child has cancer.”
Liam was diagnosed with neuroblastoma a 12 cm tumor pressing against his kidneys. On july 24th, the doctors performed a biopsy, placed a central port, and took a bone marrow sample. We are incredibly grateful to say: his bone marrow is clear of cancer . That was the first piece of hope we clung to.
Over the next three days Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Liam underwent his first rounds of chemotherapy. He has been in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) ever since due to dangerously high blood pressure caused by the tumor pressing on his organs and releasing stress hormones (catecholamines). It’s been overwhelming, to say the least.
All we want is to get back to the Hematology/Oncology floor, where he can have a bit more freedom. I just want to take my baby outside for some fresh air. PICU is strict, but we know he’s in the best hands.
Through it all, Liam has shown unbelievable strength. He is our brave little warrior, fighting each day with a courage that inspires everyone around him. ️
Why We’re Asking for Help
This diagnosis has turned our lives upside down. Between hospital stays, medical procedures, chemotherapy, medications, and trying to maintain our household and be present for our boy we are emotionally and financially overwhelmed.
My husband is our sole provider, but he has made the decision to pause working so he can be by Liam’s side for every moment of treatment. This has been incredibly hard on us financially, but there was no question in our minds Liam needs both of his parents right now.
We are humbly asking for help to cover:
• Ongoing medical bills
• Prescription costs
• Travel and stay related to treatment
• Household bills while we focus on Liam’s care
Anything you can give no matter how small, will make a difference for our family. Even if you can’t donate, please share Liam’s story and keep him in your prayers. We believe in the power of faith, community, and love.
From the bottom of our hearts Thankyou.
