Hello, my name is Taylor & My fiance's name is Mark.

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant with our first son, Antonio Mark Laverne LaPier. What should have been a season filled with joy quickly became a season of deep faith and trust in God.

We recently learned that Antonio has a serious congenital heart defect called Double Inlet Left Ventricle (DILV). His heart did not develop a wall to separate oxygen-rich blood from oxygen-poor blood. Because of this, Antonio will need three to four open-heart surgeries before the age of five. While this news was devastating, we are holding tightly to our faith and trusting God to guide every step of this journey.

Our medical team has informed us that we must relocate to Seattle within the next 7–10 weeks so I can deliver near a specialized children’s hospital prepared to care for Antonio immediately after birth. He will require surgery soon after he arrives and continued, specialized care.

My fiancé and I also have three other children, and one of our greatest concerns is making sure they are loved, supported, and cared for while we are away. As parents, our hearts are pulled in every direction, and we are doing our best to lean on God’s strength during this overwhelming time.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help with:

Temporary relocation and housing in Seattle

Travel and transportation costs

Lost income during extended hospital stays

Childcare and support for our children at home

Medical and daily living expenses not fully covered by insurance

We believe God is already at work through the prayers, kindness, and generosity of others. Any donation, prayer, or share helps lift a weight from our shoulders and allows us to focus on what matters most — fighting for Antonio’s life and trusting God’s plan.

We come before You asking for Your healing hands to be placed over our sweet son, Antonio Mark Laverne LaPier. Please guide the doctors, nurses, and surgeons who will care for him. Grant them wisdom, steady hands, and compassion. Surround our family with peace, strength, and comfort during this journey, and help us trust You even in moments of fear and uncertainty. We place Antonio’s life in Your hands and believe in Your goodness, Your miracles, and Your perfect plan.
