I'm a student at Baylor University preparing for a faith-based medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This journey is more than just travel—it's an opportunity to learn firsthand about healthcare in a developing country and to serve alongside local organizations making a real difference. I'll be working closely with children through One More Child, a group dedicated to supporting and uplifting young people in the community. By shadowing healthcare professionals and engaging with local families, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those in underserved areas and to broaden my perspective as a future healthcare provider.

What inspired me to join this mission is a calling to understand life beyond my own experiences.
