Faith, Love & Support for Nancy Mwangi’s Final Expenses

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Wanjiru Mwangi, who passed away on the evening of May 25, 2025.

Mum was the very heart of our home, a warm, loving, and selfless woman who gave her all to others. Our door was always open, and no matter the hour, she would joyfully prepare a meal for anyone who walked in. She lived a life of deep compassion and unwavering service, always putting the needs of others before her own. To know her was to feel welcomed, seen, and loved.

She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord deeply and reflected the love of Jesus in every interaction. Her kindness was sincere and unconditional, never once expecting anything in return. Her faith was the foundation of how she lived: humbly, joyfully, and in service to others.

Mum was also a woman of many delights. She loved to cook and bake and was well known for her delicious confectionery. She brought joy to every occasion, often dancing with uncontainable cheer. That infectious joy had been with her since childhood, making her easy to love and even easier to be around. Her laughter, warmth, and generous spirit lit up every room she entered.

Even in her final days, her strength and grace were unshakeable. After being diagnosed on 4th April 2025 with Stage 4 cancer, which had spread to several organs, she remained brave and composed, never once complaining. She endured intense pain yet carried herself with quiet courage, always putting on a faint smile so her family and friends wouldn’t worry.

She received radiotherapy to ease the effects of the disease and responded positively. However, due to the complexity of her condition, further treatment was not possible. She spent her final weeks at Avenue Hospital in Nairobi under palliative care, surrounded by love and prayer.

Mum was the last surviving member of her family of seven. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her impact beyond measure.

She has left behind her loving husband, three daughters, and three grandchildren, who already miss her more than words can express.

As we navigate the weight of this loss, we are asking for your support to help cover the significant medical expenses from her extended care and hospitalisation. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
