For any of you who don't know, our friend Faith was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago and is due for a double mastectomy.
She has been fortunate to have access to some incredibly skilled, compassionate, and knowledgeable care, but as you can imagine this has been taking a toll. Aside from the emotional strain that can make it difficult to conduct even one's most basic daily routines, the biopsies, MRIs, consultations, and other medical necessities have become like having another job. This has meant that Faith hasn't been able to keep up her usually rigorous work schedule, which means that past-due bills are about to become another strain. Not to mention the expenses that come with getting treatment.
If you know Faith you know that she's stronger and more capable than she probably ever realizes, and sometimes that strength and capability can use some shoring up from other people in her life. If you'd like to contribute funds to help her out it would be immensely appreciated. If you're local to her and would like to help in some other way, she says she could use fruit and vegetables over things like flowers.
