Update on Debbie’s Journey – A New Chapter in Her Fight

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

We come to you today with heavy hearts and another difficult update in Debbie’s ongoing battle. Recently, Debbie learned that her cancer has spread to her spinal cord, and she will now have to begin another round of radiation treatments. As if that weren’t enough, she also suffered a sudden brain bleed that landed her in the emergency room. This has caused some short-term memory loss, and she’s now facing even more scans, tests, and procedures to assess the damage and monitor the progression of the disease.

Debbie’s health challenges have also cost her her job. Losing that sense of purpose and the financial support it provided has been a devastating blow—not just emotionally, but financially as well. Her husband, Gary, has stepped up as her primary caregiver, taking significant time off work to be by her side every step of the way. With Debbie needing in-home care, transportation to appointments, and daily support, Gary is doing everything he can to care for her while struggling under the weight of being the sole provider.

This has created an overwhelming financial burden for the family—one they simply cannot carry alone. Medical bills continue to grow, and with both Debbie and Gary unable to work full-time, they are in urgent need of help.

But through every hardship, Debbie’s faith in God has never wavered. She remains a pillar of strength, hope, and courage. Her unwavering belief that God is walking with her through this valley is nothing short of awe-inspiring. And Gary, holding tightly to that same faith, continues to fight alongside her, trusting that they will come out of this storm together.

Now, more than ever, they need their village. They need prayers. They need love. And yes—they need financial support to keep going.
