My name is Brandi, and my husband Michael “MJ” Jordan is the strongest man I know.

Just a few months ago, our lives were turned upside down when MJ was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. Since then, every day has been a fight — and he faces it with courage, faith, and determination. He is a warrior, and I’m blessed to stand by his side as his wife and primary caregiver.

Because of his illness and treatments, neither of us are able to work at this time. Twice a month, we travel almost two hours from Ardmore to Oklahoma City for his chemotherapy treatments, often staying in the city for several days — sometimes up to a week — at a time. These trips, combined with MJ’s ongoing medical care, have made it hard to keep up with bills, and we’ve fallen behind.

Through it all, our faith in God has never wavered. We know that He will carry us through this storm. We are deeply grateful for every prayer lifted, every word of encouragement spoken, and every act of generosity shown to us already — whether financial or in other ways.
