Description: Our family has recently been faced with the difficult news that Joel has been diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer) and stomach cancer. This diagnosis came after a sudden hospital stay, which resulted with 3 surgeries just in the week, and a series of challenging tests.

Joel is also battling Hepatitis C and sepsis, & cirrhosis of the Liver . His condition has left him unable to work as he begins this fight. The hospital will not provide further care until bills are paid in Full, and disability benefits are still pending, leaving us in a very difficult position.

Joel has always been a hardworking man who provided for our family and supported others in need. Now, as he faces this life-threatening illness, we find ourselves needing to ask for help—a position we never imagined we’d be in. Life can take unexpected and challenging turns, and we are doing our best to stay strong for Joel and each other.

We want to say thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your kindness, your generosity, and your prayers. Our faith in Christ is what is holding us together and giving us strength each day. As it says in 1 Corinthians, “We hold onto remembrance, love, and sacrifice—knowing we are never alone in this journey”.✝️

Joel has a long road ahead, but we believe with all our hearts that he will get through this! We are choosing faith over fear, hope over doubt, and strength through every step.
