The importance of having a father in child life

My name is Kriss Johnson. I am a 34 y.o. child of God. I have 2 beautiful daughters whom I’m trying to support. I’ve been struggling to find myself and to love myself again. After the death of my beloved brother, I was dealing with addiction, mental health issues, and run-ins with the law. Just recently, during my last stint of incarceration, I actually took the time to heal myself and realize where and how the problems occurred. Dealing with my traumatic experiences in my childhood and past, I was creating this false reality of the person I was supposed to be. Since getting home, I’ve been struggling to get on my feet to pay my fines and bills. I’m praying for assistance to help me get back on my feet, to catch up on bills, and purchase reliable transportation to get me to and from my place of employment. This will also help me reunite with my children, as they do not live as close to me anymore. I want to be able to be in their lives, to attend their sporting events, to go to their appointments, or just to show up when and if they need me!

This might be far-fetched, but I’m taking a leap of faith to ask for help. Anything and everything will help to contribute to this cause. Not only will this help me, but it will cause a ripple effect to those around me. If you know me, you know I will go out of my way, take the shirt off my back to help my brothers and sisters of God! No matter what, I will pay forward the blessings, even if it’s my last. Thank you ahead for your time and consideration.
