This is my very good friend, Michelle. I have known her for more than 20 years. We started out working together in Pittsburgh at a major company downtown. I hired her. She was an amazing employee and co-worker. Hard working, smart, honest, funny and fun. Michelle is generous. I witnessed her many times helping others. She worked in social work for many years to help children and families. She's one of the few people I knew that were outspoken about their faith and lived it in a real way. She's been struggling the past few years. She's battled illness and struggled to stay employed in a difficult economy while going in and out of the hospital for multiple lengthy stays.

She lost her job. She lost her home. She lost her car. She's struggling to survive.

God has been faithful to keep Michelle going these past few years, but he uses people like you and me to help sometimes. She's currently homeless, living in a rented room provided by the kindness of a neighbor. But it can't continue indefinitely. She needs a job and car to find a decent place to live. She was recently gifted some funds to purchase a very inexpensive car, but it needs some repairs to make it safe to drive. I wouldn't be asking for help if it wasn't truly necessary. She lives very little money and a big faith that she'll get a job soon. She wants with her all her heart to be working and taking care of herself.

She doesn't want a hand out at all. But I'm asking on her behalf. I'm setting the fundraising amount as low as I can to cover some basic immediate needs and some car repairs, but I pray that donations will surpass this goal.

Help me help her get this car on the road and please pray that she gets one of the many many jobs she's applied for. Pray that God continues to heal her and protect her and provide what she needs. Thank you to all who will help. I'm truly grateful.
