As I’m sure you know by now, the fires in Maui have created an epic disaster for one of our most beloved states. It’s cost the lives of countless residents of Maui and left thousands homeless and in dire need of assistance. Two of the victims are my young friends, Faith Stephen and Ava Miksza. They have lost their home, belongings and jobs in the Lahaina fire.

Food is scarce and it’s very dark times for the survivors as they wait for help to arrive from the mainland.

I’m asking you to please reach deep into your hearts and pockets and help me help this wonderful, kind and deserving young couple. I’ve known Faith since her childhood and I can personally assure you that these funds will be put only to good use. They are already in full force helping others. They’re currently purchasing supplies (what’s left) from the other side of the island and loading them for transport back to the victims.

It’s going to take money, a lot of money, for the entire island for years to come. But this is a place to start. Please help me help Faith and Ava and in turn, they will be helping others.

Please take a look around your own home and imagine what you would do if tomorrow, it was all gone. Your home, clothes, personal items, family heirlooms, precious photos… We’re setting the fundraiser goal at $15,000 with the full realization that it’s not going to go as far as needed, but it’s a start.
