Fairytale Farm Christmas Fundraiser

Give the Gift of a Second Chance This Holiday Season ✨

A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Horse Rescue

Since opening its gates in West Morgan Hill in September 2017, Fairytale Farm has rescued more than 250 mini-horses, ponies, donkeys, and horses from severe neglect, unsafe environments, and even the brink of slaughter. Founded by Alexandra Martinez, a full-time paramedic with a passion for saving lives—both human and equine—the farm has become a sanctuary where forgotten animals learn to trust again.

Fairytale Farm operates almost entirely through fundraising, donations, and the commitment of caring volunteers. With over 15 regular volunteers and countless supporters, the farm works tirelessly to provide lifesaving medical care, transportation, shelter, training, and love to every horse that arrives—many of them in urgent crisis.

But this year, Fairytale Farm is facing one of its toughest seasons yet.

Over the past two months, Director and Founder Alexandra Martinez has been battling major medical issues, undergoing multiple surgeries that have currently left her confined to a wheelchair.
Despite everything, Alexandra continues to lead with strength and heart—but she simply cannot do it all alone right now. While she focuses on healing, the farm still must care for dozens of rescued horses who rely on us every single day.

This Christmas, we are praying for a true holiday miracle.
Our biggest and most urgent need is ensuring hay and boarding costs are fully covered during Alexandra’s recovery. Caring for horses—especially this many—is expensive even in the best of times. Now, with Alexandra unable to be physically active at the ranch, the need for community support has never been greater.

Your donation directly helps cover:
• Winter hay and feed
• Boarding fees for horses placed in temporary foster homes
• Emergency veterinary care
• Transportation out of kill pens
• Continued rehabilitation and training
• Safe sanctuary placement for seniors and special-needs horses.

Many of the farm’s rescues come from heartbreaking situations: horses shipped from Texas kill auctions with no food or water… pregnant mares… seniors abandoned due to age… minis and donkeys from closed petting zoos… and horses suffering from severe neglect or abuse. Fairytale Farm has always stepped up, saving lives others had given up on.

And even now—faced with her own medical challenges—Alexandra refuses to give up on them.

❤️ This holiday season, we’re asking our community to lift her up the way she has lifted so many animals.
By helping us cover hay and boarding, you are giving Alexandra the peace of mind to focus on healing—and giving every horse at Fairytale Farm the gift of stability, safety, and love.

Please help us make a Christmas miracle happen.
Every donation—small or large—truly saves lives.
